The mission walk offers a contemplative journey through the life of Jesus as told through the Stations of the Cross. The fifteen stations and the Garden of Gethsemane scene feature bronze sculptures designed and produced by artist Timothy P. Schmalz of Ontario, Canada.
Visitors are welcome to use the Stations of the Cross guide books which are available at the entrance of the Memorial Garden. The various guidebooks provided offer different perspectives for praying the Stations of the Cross as guests make their way down the mission walk.

| Historical Perspective | ||||
The idea for a Memorial Garden was sparked in 1999 by a need for an outdoor place to pray and a place where we may honor parishioners of Santa Catalina who had died. Beginning in the fall of 2004, the creative plans and work took shape and the Memorial Garden was finally completed in the spring of 2008. Thanks to the many contributors of funds and talents who made this special place possible — a place where the Santa Catalina Catholic Community and its visitors may come for prayer.
