Sunday, February 5 –
1:30 PM in the Church

“A Brush with God” – Workshop sharing the history, technique and spirituality of Iconology.

Presented by Peter Pearson. Peter is an American icon painter, author and teacher. He has been painting Byzantine icons for 45 years and teaching for 25 years. In preparation for the visit of the Icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help , Peter plans to share his knowledge about history, technique and the spirituality of icons. This will be a one hours presentation, that you will not want to miss. The workshop will take place in the church.

Monday, February 20 –
5:30 PM in the Church parking lot

Reception & Procession of the Icon with Contemplative Rosary
A full procession through the parking lot to the church will include the Knights of Columbus Honor Guard, our parish Knights of Columbus, representatives from the Immaculate Heart Academy and High School, the parish Matachines group, the parish choir, our pastor, deacons, and the general congregation. It is such an honor to have the Mother of Perpetual Help icon visiting us . Let us welcome her with great enthusiasm. The procession will include, song, prayer, and scripture. This part of the prayer service will be bilingual. Once we have processed into the candle lit church we will continue our prayer with a Contemplative Rosary.   This rosary is beautifully set to music and word. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the Joyful Mysteries in a deep, inviting way.

Dessert Reception & Our Lady of Perpetual Help Museum 
Join us in the Parish Hall for refreshments and enjoy visiting the traveling museum and learn more about the history of the Icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. There will be various stations explaining the conception of the icon and how she has influenced the world and the spiritual lives of the Redemptorists.

Tuesday, February 21 –
1:00 PM and 6:00 PM  in the Church

“Jesus the Light, Mary the Morning Star” a presentation on the Icon Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
Presented by Lee Morrison. Lee will give a detailed presentation of the Icon, explaining in detail the colors and symbols. This presentation will last about 1 .5 hours.

Join us in the Parish Hall for refreshments. The traveling icon museum will be open for viewing. Commemorative pins and posters will be available for purchase.

Wednesday, February 22 –
8:30 -11:00 AM in the Church

Adoration following morning Mass.

11:00 AM (English) and 6:00 PM (Bilingual) in the Church

Hour of reflection and prayer to Mary led by Fr. Greg May CSsR.
Fr. Greg will be joining us to share an some time of prayer with the Icon. The evening session will include an introduction in English and then guided prayer with Mary and a conclusion in Spanish. The morning session will be in all English.

Thursday, February 23
6:00 PM in the Church

Closing Bilingual Mass
Join us as we bring our celebrations to a close. We are in the process of planning a beautiful mass that will truly bring our focus to Mary. The music will include both English and Spanish selections dedicated to Mary. We will include, Cello, flute, violin, piano and organ in our music this evening. Please join us for this mass and invite your friends and family. Let us fill our church as we express our great love and devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help,

Wine & Cheese Reception/ Our Mother of Perpetual Help Museum
Join us in the Parish Hall for a wine and cheese reception. Drinks and treats for children will be available. This will be your last opportunity to enjoy the displays in the traveling museum and to purchase commemorative items.
