On the Journey Closer to Christ

LifeTeen was established in 1985 at St. Timohty’s Parish in Mesa, AZ. This youth ministry movement is aimed as revolutionizing ministering to your and bringing the message of Jesus Christ to teens in a way they can understand. Its purpose is to find a releveant and engaging way to evangelize the teaching of the Catholic Chruch for high school students.

Teens are invited to come together in fellowship. Life Nights are not only meant to be fun, but present an opportunity to grow and learn in faith together. We invite you to join us anytime and why not bring a friend!

Life Nights  – Are held on Sundays following the Youth Mass at 5pm.
 
Life Days – The first Sunday of every month, we have a parish food drive for Casa Maria. Our teens in Life Teen and Confirmation Classes collect the food before and after the 9am, 11am, and 5pm, Youth Mass. On these Sundays, we stay here all day and have Life Day, instead of Life Night. We have fun, fellowship, lunch & a movie, then our regularly scheduled bible study, concluding with Mass.
 
Youth Mass is available each Sunday at 5 p.m. throughout the year.
 
Scripture Study for Teens is available - Stop by and study the Sunday readings using the Lectio Divina method. This study group meets at 3pm every Sunday in the Marian Room in the Parish Hall.

The LifeTeen Program is looking for responsible drivers to transport our teens from the parish to the various events available to us in the city of Tucson and back. If you would be willing to volunteer as a driver, please call the youth ministry office for more details.

Adam Eichelberger is the Director of Youth Ministry at Santa Catalina Catholic Church and has been working in youth ministry for over 10 years in Southern Arizona. In addition to heading the youth ministry program, he is also direct the Confirmation program for high school teens. Prior to coming here, he served as Assistant Youth Minister at Saint Thomas the Apostle in Tucson, AZ, in both youth ministry & youth group leadership as well as teaching Confirmation. He also works with XLT, a teen oriented Adoration & Worship ministry for high school teens in the greater Tucson area, as well as involvement with the Life Teen ministry movement, which he brings to the parish. Along with that, he speaks at churches for retreats, missions & at conferences.
There is nothing greater than watching a heart crumble in front of Jesus & be rebuilt by the Holy Spirit! God’s grace & forgiveness is infinite, beautiful & amazing.
